How To: Kitchen Table Makeover!

About a year ago I spied a well loved formica table at a garage sale. It was for sale for £8 so I snapped it up as it was perfect for my home.

You could tell this table had been well used, it was rusty and the table top had seen much better days so I decided when I had time I would give it a Tatty Designs make over and restore it to its former glory.

Collection Alert! – Hunters Bohemia

I am a huge advocate of independent businesses and recently I stumbled across Interiors and design brand Hunters Bohemia. The brand is fairly new but has already proven extremely popular with many items selling out, some in their first day!

The handcrafted collection has been designed with the Danish concept in mind of less is more. Owner Katty, a self taught textile designer and woodworker has poured her love of interiors and her obsession with details and styling into these items, which is clearly evident. The collection mixes heart and soul with a bohemian edge to create items that will be treasured for years to come.

This got me looking into products that were designed with multiple functions in mind. There are some brilliant products on the market that can be used in designs to make sure everything that is required fits, many items will have storage built in to ensure you can save space and hide away the clutter!

One product I looked at for my bathroom / space dilemma was this brilliant radiator mirror combination from Vogue UK. Its such a good space saver and looks really stylish too!
